I'll continue to tell him he's wrong, but you or Rebel are free to explain what he's basing such nonsense on. Until I see some evidence I think it's fair to assume he's delusional.

I really don't think you're in a position to decide who is wrong and who isn't. Where's your credibility?

If somebody makes an outlandish statement supported by absolutely nothing I can (and will continue to) say they're wrong. You can stop that by providing evidence.

Until then I'm right and you're wrong. Very Happy

If we bought Rhodes Freedman would only have him sat on the bench.

We might as well as go for the cheaper option in Beckford.

With this squad our ambition is to stay up.

Shut your filthy mouth Nat. I won't listen to any realistic comments about Bolton, just deluded ones, comprende?

Why were Burnley so keen to sell him when he was so good for them?

No. Have I missed something?

Yes you have.

We weren't 'keen' to sell him, he was in his last year of contract and didn't want to sign what was offered to him. What we probably offered him to what QPR no doubt offered would be similar to a half eaten packet of Pork scratchings and £1 off McDonalds voucher.

That's how some of us football clubs keep afloat, by selling players for a profit.

Oh that is a shame, he is a top player at this level. It is a shame you have lost Austin and Rodriguez in the space of 12 months.
At least you cashed in on him. It still makes me shake my head when I think of Bolton paying £8m for Elmander and losing him on a free. Clubs like Bolton and Burnley cannot afford to be flushing millions of quid down the toilet.

Quite right Michael.

It's one of the things that Bolton have done wrong since Allardyce was manager, not getting in enough players with potential to get better and hopefully earn off them.

Although I do think that you've been unlucky in the past few seasons (injuries and crap managers).

Our ambition is obviously not to get promoted.

Its to make as much money as possible for Gartside, Mr Warburton and co and spend fuck all before we crumble and they walk off with their massive bonus'

If we had 'ambition' at least one of Jordan Rhodes or charlie Austin would be wearing our short now.

Firstly they don't get bonuses, at moment, due to lack of money and the current financial world mess we are in! And if anyone does get any money it will be none of the ones you have mentioned but Eddie Davies.

What do you make of Burnley's prospects this season Copper Dragon?

I just look at Sean Dyche and think "loser". The manager-fan relationship doesn't sound good and the star man has just been sold.

Are you optimistic or pessimistic?

A lot is going to depend on who (if) we get into replace Austin. Many folk seem to forget that Charlie didn't score them goals by himself. He was well assisted by Trippier, Stanislas and Wallace. and we still have these players (up to this point 11.05am friday morning Very Happy ).

At this moment in time I would say a mid table finish would be satisfactory. Dyche has had us playing some good stuff in pre season (yes it's only pre season) when last season in most of the games it was depressing and shit to watch. If he carries the decent football into the new season then the majority of Burnley fans will be happy.

Many of the doom mongers on Cartel Mad seem to forget that Burnley have sold their best players in the sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, noughties and now we are still doing it.

We're still here though aren't we? Austin gone. - Page 2 2uyoz1i
