Rumour is we could land him for £6 million, if we sell Ngog for £2million, would that be good business ?

The owner has said we need a 20+ goal a season man, could it be him ?

We've got more chance of signing Steve Austin, he was also worth 6 million!!!!

What do you mean by that, Burnley wouldn't sell ?

We wouldn't offer the money in question ?

Or Charlie wouldn't come to a small club like us ?

We won't pay 6 million for one player

We could sell Mears, Ngog, Ream and Mills.

Then just put up the rest, then it wouldn't come straight from the war chest ?

i think a marque signing like this is what we need to help us challenge next season.  From what i have heard we have between 5-7 mill to spend on one key player and if it was upto me it would be Charlie Austin.  The rest of the transfers we are then looking at would be from any players sold or money we can save on the signing of a prolific scorer.

Forgot to mention though that i also heard hull are in for him!

You really need to lay off the drugs Scott.

Austin isn't worth £6m and Bolton don't have £6m.

No one will buy Ngog, Sordell or Ream because they are shit.

One more point last season would argue otherwise, you are right about finding a buyer for Ngog, Sordell and Ream though.

I doubt we would spend no more than £2M in this division. Besides Austin is not worth £6M

Virtually a done deal with Hull for about £4 million.

Rich bastards. They could buy a giant bench-cosy for a fraction of the price.

I wouldn't bother going to Hull if I was Austin, they have just signed Curtis Davies.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]....

Looking at signings shitty clubs like Hull and reading are making, I doubt we will even make the play offs next season.

We need a good striker, If we have no intentions of signing one, we wont score enough goals to be challenging for the prem next year.

6m is peanuts for a potential 20 goal-a-season striker.

Penny pinching again is going to land us in the shit.

Longer we stay out of the prem, the worse the debt will get.

Aren't Hull in the premier league though?

Still a shitty club - Bolton would have been a better option.

Sign a 3 year deal with hull and 2 of those years will be in the championship.

At least he would be in a team (hopefully) fighting for the prem instead of getting battered every week.

well sign with us and all 3 could be in the championship.

obviously he secures himself a season (at least) in the premier league.

9 times out of 10 a player will chose the premier league. Thats life.

"penny pinching"

didn't we have the highest wage bill in the league last year?

Deluded.

Hull get bigger gates, aren't billions in debt, are in the PL and don't have Ngog.

They are light-years ahead of us.

Where do you get your stats from? The Huffington Post?

Last season in the Championship the average attendance at Hull was 17,369 and at the Reebok it was 18,034.

Remember Hull is a City with no other close rival whereas Bolton is a town sandwiched between United, City, Liverpool and Everton.
