I'm looking to upgrade my very old Nokia phone and I would like one of the latest mobile phones on the market, the phone doesn't have to be an Apple or a top of the range Samsung etc. I just want a half decent mobile that ticks most of the boxes.

A friend has recommended a Motorola Razr i xt890. I've also read that LG and Sony make some half decent phones.

Any advice would be much appreciated! Very Happy

I have an Iphone 5 right now but I've had numerous Androids high end.

both great systems IMO.

the best value phone my a mile is the nexus 4 if you're looking for a solid device that will do everything you need. Only 159 pounds sim free or 199 for a 16gig. Bargain and a very good device.

http://www.google.co.uk/nexus/4/

If you're looking for a high end device you will be looking at the galaxy S4 or the Iphone 5s which will be out in a few weeks.

I've looked at the Samsung Galaxy S3, that seems a quality phone.

The Glaxy S4 is the latest addition but this is the top of the range like the S3 was around the last 12months or so.

Samsung have phone models to suit all budgets, it depends on how much you would like to spend?

Also what features you would want the most?

I have had a Sony Xperia for just under a year and appart from the battery life I love it. Never had an Iphone so I can't compare it but you can get loads of great free apps on it.

Have an I phone 5 and a Samsung galaxy s3. S3 wins every time.

Snap!

I always had a shitty old mobile which could text and make a call and that was all up until a year ago when I bought an iphone 4s on pay as you go. It is facking brilliant. The only problem I have with it is that my phone often has problems connecting to wifi. It seems a very common problem but I get by as I get 1GB of data each month, 300 free texts, plus can text other iphones for free, text and call on viber for free, text on yahoo messenger for free, and have £4 left over from a tenner each month.
I love my iphone!

I don't like the galaxies because they are just too big.

thats why i went back to the Iphone, not impressed with the way Androids keep getting bigger.

I don't need a fucking ipad in my pocket.
