Whatever you do, don't buy from ebay.  I have heard numerous times where people have bought mobiles and then a few months later the seller has claimed the phone lost and then the phone has become IMEI blocked.

I haven't heard good things with the play.com market place either to be honest.

I would keep your eye open on the smartfonestore website here for when they get some grade A ones back in although they only stock from the 4S and above, personally I would be looking at a minimum of a 4S due to the age of the 4 now!

Just had another look and they seem to be sim locked.

I could get £250 for my I phone 5 so it could be a genuine deal, but check it out first.

Cheers karly, the one on play.com just seems to cheap for my liking.

I've decided I think am going to take the plunge and opt for an iphone 5 on pay as you go - quite expensive but hopefully worth.

I would make sure it's unlocked and then it saves you a few bob paying to have it done via your network provider plus increases it's sell on value a little.

Out of interest, what phone are you currently using?

Any particular reason you would like an Apple iPhone?

I was going to get it through 02, that way I can keep my same number. I'm using a sony experia st25i.

No real reason just always fancied an iphone but never wanted one on contract.

Do you work for a phone company - all these questions.  Laughing

No don't work for a phone company, I'm just knowledgeable on I.T/tech stuff (I'm that way inclined!)  Very Happy

Depending on how soon you buy your phone, you can currently jailbreak (Quite simple!) iOS 7.0.4 and use something called AppCake to get your free cracked apps!

You can't use the SkyGo app though if jailbroken  Smile
