Gary Busey on CBB is comedy gold. He doesn't know the meaning of political correctness and never will.

Just wasted 114 precious minutes of my life on Jack Ryan: Shadow Agent.
Utter shite.
I read most of the Jack Ryan books by Tom Clancy when I was younger but gave up when he had Prince Charles stood on the bow of a speedboat, machine-gunning terrorists (not kidding, Google it kids), so I should have known better.
It's a fine line with films like this between clever plot devices which move the story on and heavy handed, clumping bollocks which makes you point at your tellybox and shout "Fuck off...!"
I shouted "Fuck off...!" quite a lot tonight.
If you've not seen it, don't bother.
If you have, you have my sympathy.
Mrs B wanted to watch the Harry Hill Movie but I said no.
Wish I'd let her hold sway now........

I watched 'Stand by me'.
It's a minor classic.

Agreed.
Just Googled to check it was based on a Stephen King short (as I thought that may be one of those "facts" that you absorb which aren't actually true like brandy in marbles in the 70's and cows having 7 stomachs) and discovered that it was directed by Rob Reiner.
Never knew that.....
Top film.

Anyone watch the paedophile hunter last night? Seen the same sort of show from USA, but think it's good that someone is out there trying to stop them in their tracks. I would have thought the police would do the same sort of thing but I guess not.

I have watched a few of the shows, To catch a Predator, on Youtube. Some of the perps are seriously spooky individuals.

They are depressing but they also raise awareness about the dangers that lurk on the internet.

Thank Christ it's not just me......
I gave it about three episodes in the first series, hoping it would pick up but it didn't.
Shite Brummie accents all round and characters that I just couldn't warm to.
Tripe.

Maron.
Just watched a couple on Fox.
Never heard of it before tonight but I'm liking it.
Reminds me of Curb Your Enthusiasm a bit, but with less hang-ups.
The humour's quite dry and sarcastic which I think is why it's resonating with me.

i also like Louis, the best bits tend to be when he does his stand-up routine as part of the show.
