'AFTER a two week break from league action, Nottingham Forest return to their promotion assault with a bump on Saturday.

While the historic Reds blaze a promising trail in the Championship, the two-time European cup winners will be lowered to welcoming small-time AFC Bournemouth to the City Ground - a famous stadium where the biggest names in world football once plied their trade.

Coming from a town known for little more than its seaside frivolities, The Cherries may feel more than a little dazed by the grandeur and history of their famous opponents.

And Eddie Howe’s minnows may just be four places below Billy Davies’ unstoppable machine, but it seems unlikely they will be able to complete with the prowess, power and financial muscle of the Trentside team this weekend.

The south coast side are inferior in almost every way, even the club’s iconic former manager, Harry Redknapp comes second to Forest’s Brian Clough in the best manager England never had stakes.

Impressive things about Forest:

European Cup wins: 2

Influence: Arsenal wear red in honour of Forest after the Nottingham team donated some shirts in 1886.

Greatest manager of all time: Brian Clough’s 18-year stint at the club included winning two European Cups, a league title, and four League Cups.

Captain: Stuart Pearce made Nottingham his home, eventually gaining 76 caps for England.

Big Bucks: Record transfer is Pierre Van Hooijdonk for £4.5m and record sale is Stan Collymore to Liverpool for £8.5m.

Record Breakers: First club to spend £1m on a player when Brian Clough brought Trevor Francis to the club.

Unimpressive things about Bournemouth:

Average attendance: A hardly-whopping 7,363 compared to Forest’s 23,082.

Icon: Harry Redknapp is a legend at Bournemouth. He was sacked by Spurs and then successfully relegated as manager of Q.P.R.

Manager: Eddie Howe returned to Hampshire after failing to make the grade at Burnley - now topping the table under Sean Dyche.'

Quite obviously a bit of a wind up write up but still, you want Bournemouth to give them a good hiding and True Red to get the shits.
