I am assuming that Bogdan is now our number 1 keeper. If anything this could be the end of Jussi's career at Bolton. How long left on his contract? - for some reason I am thinking that his contract runs out at the end of the seaon.

I can't see Jussi reclaiming the no 1 spot at the moment. Coyle can't drop Bogdan because he is playing well. I can see Jussi being offered a reduced contract at the end of the season but whether he will take it is another matter.

You'll know when Jussi is absolutely finished because JayJay will start picking him in his weekly lineups.

I was the first one to turf Jussi out when I said we should keep Bogdan as number one even after the Chelsea debacle. It took Coyle a bit longer to realise, and the rest of you even longer but now I think we mostly agree that Jussi has had his day. Good back up keeper though.

Bogdan has done really well since the Chelsea at home game, to come back and prove the doubters wrong, the kind of character you need as a goalie.
It wouldn't surprise me if Jussi went to West Ham in the summer on a free with big sam.

I reckon he should replace bogdan after bogdans dodgy display.

Jussi is out of contract on June 30th and according to one tabloid, we offered him a new deal on half his existing terms, as a reflection of his new status as a squad player and the uncertainty over our PL status and he understandably refused it.
It makes sense on so many levels for Bogdan to be number one now, I can't see Jussi staying on.

With Bogdan now a first teamer expect JayJay to name Rob Lainton in his weekly team sheet.

Yes, if you like having a keeper who can't catch.
I don't think either are great, but I'd pick Jussi every time over Bogdan.

You'd pick whoever wasn't in the team at the time.

You think Bogdan is a Prem keeper? He's Championship at best, I don't have the confidence in him that I used to have in Jussi.
Personally I'd sign another goalkeeper in the unlikely event we stay up.

Bogdan has done ok, no better than that. Unfortunately both our goalkeepers tend to flap a bit when the ball is in the air.

I read somewhere that celtic were interested in jussi.

The problem is that we have a young goalie still learning, and an old goalie forgetting it all. Only one of them will get better, and thats Bogdan.

I said on Saturday, to my mate, who do you prefer, Boggers or Jussi? He replied Boggers!
Hey presto! Boggers flapped and did a David James special, at the next cross in our box.
Saying that, Jussi is well past it, imo and Boggers still has a hell of alot to learn.

Boggy was a bit jittery on Saturday. He came out a couple of times to claim the ball and then he dropped it. On the plus side, at least he comes out for crosses.

Bogdan had me flapping every time there was a cross. I guess I know what he'll be doing in training this week.
