Zat Knight has urged Chung-Yong Lee to be greedier as he continues to get back to his old self.

The Korean winger was a key figure in last weekend’s victory at Bournemouth and has been showing signs of returning to form after an indifferent start to the season.

Club skipper Knight believes the 25-year-old is starting to acclimatise to life in the Championship and, after coming through a physical first half at Dean Court, is now beginning to sparkle again.

“All of the lads are happy for him,” Knight said of his team-mate’s display at Bournemouth. “I think he’s been a bit frustrated with the way the season has gone for him so far but we all know he is a quality player.

“He not only did a shift going forward at the weekend, but he did his fair share of defensive work too.

“Early on in the game their right-back went through him a few times but Chungy picked himself up and got on with it. He’s learning to look after himself in this league and it will certainly help improve him as a player in the long run.

“There are times when he probably needs to be a bit greedier when in good positions, but I think Saturday was a reminder of what a good player we have on our hands.

“I’ve played with him for a number of years now and he’s a great guy. On the pitch he’s certainly a big player for us in this league.”

Its not that he is selfish, he needs to stop being a complete wet-lettuce.

I know he got his leg snapped, but he refuses to tackle, backs away from opponents and will not shoot.

His confidence is shot, either get over it, stop being a pussy or fuck off.

Zat Knight offering advice to any Bolton player is like Long John Silver offering advice on tap shoes.

No disrespect intended here Rebel but you're way off base here. I broke my leg in two places when I was twenty and to be honest when playing football again more than a year later it took me a while to really believe I could play a full blooded game subconsciously. I really thought I was ready when I came back in the front of my mind but somewhere deep down where I couldn't see it I still doubted. It took another really bad foul from an opposition lad to settle my mind once and for all when I got tipped head over heels and got up just fine and I was a right back, someone who goes into tackles all the time. Chungy has never been a tackling player, ever since he came he's been an out and out winger using pace to pass guys BEFORE they can get a foot in. I think the Bournemouth match might just be the start of him believing he's ready at a subconscious level and hopefully we'll see the Blue Dragon flying past the opposition regularly now.
