We're forever hearing that Mourinho is a character that is great for the game.
But since when have bad sports and generally poisonous people been good for the game.

I was excited at the idea of him coming back to England. I remember detesting him first time round, but couldn't remember exactly why.

It's eleven games in and I already want to hit the TV with a brick each time his saggy mug is on it. I couldn't believe his attitude over the West Brom penalty decision. To whinge over referees at the rate he does is bad enough, but to be that dismissive over a decision that went for him is shameful.

Have I got it wrong or is he actually a nasty piece of work?

He plays the media brilliantly, once again his Chelsea team drop points and were poor but all anybody is talking about is Mourinho.

And compounding the problem is the fact that we now have rolling 24 hour "news", so every utterance is reported and dissected ad nauseam, with absolutely no editorial comment, so their bullshit becomes accepted as serious opinion.

To the point where even a three year old can see it's nonsense but the (alleged) experts on Sky Sports still give this rubbish air-time and waste hours on end discussing it.

And Sky will never come out and say anything critical because they're too shit scared of upsetting the Golden Goose.

If Sky wanted to add a really impressive interactive service to their portfolio, they should give us all a button on our remote labelled:

If enough people pressed their button, they would have to stop discussing the point in question and issue an apology to the paying public.

And just once, I would love to see a manager come out after a blatant dive and say "You know what, that was never a penalty in a million years and the ref got it wrong, but we got away with it, so hey ho."
