I heard he wanted Ibrahimovic too but there's no agreement in place and there will be a lot of interest in him next month despite being 34. They should get him but it won't be cheap - and he isn't really the longer term solution they need Mourinho to build.

Mourinho doesn't build for long term, he picks teams to win titles.

He's allegedly interested in Zlatan (who I would love to see over here) and Benzema or Icardi which would probably push Rashford down the pecking order, there seems to be a few good young players coming through there, I wonder how many of them will have their progress halted when the self serving one gets in.

Kid obviously didn't put a shift in when in a hugely envious position

Don't think Utd are getting the bargain they think. Big ego,big wages,but often goes missing in games,as against Man City.

Should be interesting though. A few Stoke players will be licking their lips.

I think Mourinho will be a quick fix for United.

Can anybody see him still being there in five or six years time after building a good young team with potential?

I think two or three seasons and as many trophies is more likely.

I think they'll win the league next season, but they'll never be as good as Barca.

Quite possible. I've always liked zlatan.  And mourinho.

Me too,but Jose is an annoyance now. That business with the doctor at Chelsea did him no favours.

Yeah, he's a good footballer but that hardly excuses his behaviour over the years and the way he talks about himself as though he's the Second Coming makes me want to smash his teeth in.

Utd don't care .....it's two or three years then out. They want to win at all costs. Jose can sign anybody he wants world wide such is the reputation for being a winner. Three years from now they can let Giggs cleanup the mess but in the meantime two or three more silverware onto Fergie's mantelpiece.

Most footballers are dicks though to be fair.

He is just about the only despicable prick in football who gets a free pass from me. I could watch him play all day. Hate that he is going to Utd though.
