Doesn't look as if Germany are taking this friendly seriously (if that makes any sense whatsoever)
I always felt England v Germany games were fairly full-blooded even if there was nothing at stake other than bragging/gloating rights, but it looks like Germany no longer consider England good enough to be bothered to make an effort...

"Germany boss Joachim Low is set to give some of his fringe players the chance to impress against England.
Borussia Dortmund's 33-year-old goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller is expected to start while key men Mesut Ozil, Philip Lahm and Manuel Neuer will be rested.
Dortmund's Marcel Schmelzer, 25, is set to replace 43-cap Marcel Jansen at left-back and the 24-year-old Sven Bender, also of Dortmund, should slot into midfield for Sami Khedira, who is recovering from knee ligament surgery.
Low said: "I need to experiment a bit and send a few players home who are already established.
"It is a deliberate acid test, not a "B team", and this is certainly no lack of respect to our hosts."

NO mate. That's a B team.
At best.

There B team will match our A team anyway, so it should be a better game.

True, but what England need from the game is a reality check and to learn something about Germany in case we're drawn against them. Not sure this will deliver either.
Hope we whup them if only to give that cocky twat J-Low something to worry about.

They will still give us a footballing lesson even if they put the under 19's out to be honest, their footballing phylosiphy is so much better than ours.

I couldn't get my head around the reaction after the Chilie game, pundits and the media were saying the result may have been down to the new blood that Roy had put in for the game but in reality other than Rodriguez and Lallana it was a pretty much full strength side.

English people despise Germans, where Germans don't give a shit either way about English people, apart from not knowing why they hate them so much.
So it's a much bigger game for England than Germany.

Not bad for their second string....

The players look good at premier leaug level but below average at international level when it really matters.

That's what getting paid 60 grand a week and not giving a toss about playing for your country gets you......

Thought England had great possession and the majority of half chances. With a bit more class we could have scored a hatful. We lacked a cutting edge and the defence was dubious at times especially in the air. Not a complete disaster but plenty of room for improvement.
