Been invited to the next Stoke home game, with all the trimmngs. I'm a bit undecided whether to go. I definitely want to see the game, but may well be watching the boys have a really depressing day. Unfortunately, not allowed to wear the colours when in the hospitality, so its not as if I can cheer and shout !

Glos, go for it. Always a good atmosphere at the Britannia.

Now maybe, but it hasn't always been that way.

I remember going there when there was just over 12,000 on and we took nearly 2,000.

Like a big empty morgue.

If you're interested we won 1-0 with the goal coming after 60 seconds from Andy Gray cheers

I'd go and Stoke, as a city, isn't all that bad and do have quite a few good bars and restaurants - especially near The Potteries shopping centre.

71, I used to live just outside, Cheadle, and can confirm the town centre isn't too bad, (although I haven't been there for about 5 years)
Last time I went to the Stoke-Bolton match, again in hospitality, I was sitting about 10 feet away from the man of the match being interviewed. It was Tuncay, and we lost 0-2.
