Nott'm Forest (H). Another close one with us winning 2-1 ( 3 points )
Reading (A). Probably a draw ( 1-1 ) 1 point.
Burnley (H). A proper traditional Lancashire hotpot with us winning 3-1 ( 3 points )
QPR (A). Very close this one but our new found confidence gives us a 1-0 victory ( 3 points )
13 points out of a possible 15 will do very nicely thank you very much.
RT you've been on the waccy baccy if you believe that lot buddy. Have the pink elephants come into land yet? Is the one eyed one horned flying purple people eater sitting in The East Stand Upper again? He has to be if this lot's gonna happen.
M'boro (h) 0 - 0 Boro are not easy to beat and we'll play the usual don't concede stuff thus cancelling each other out in two scrappy midfields.
Forest (h) 0- 2 Forest are better than us right now and it will show. Sorry but I see home defeat all over this one.
Reading (a) Odd one this, sneakily feel Dougie's back will be to the wall and we'll pull out a win going 2 - 1 to us
Burnley (h) Could be a corker of a blood and thunder local derby. Going for 1 - 1 here, maybe 2 - 2 but a draw all the way
QPR (a) Will be surprised and happy if we get anything at all. I suspect 2 - 0 to qpr even though we've been better away
Cup tie v Blackpool. We'll field a weakened squad, get beat 2 or 3 nothing and Dougie will bleat about 'concentrating on the league".
So, one win, two draws, two defeats in the league give us 5 points and a spanking in the cup sees us out right there. And I still can't help wondering if I'm a little over-optimistic. Sad times to be a trotter fan.
