Did it have any major impact on you?

For my sins I am a smoker, 37p on a packet of fags! I dread to think how much of my income is spent on them.

I am just about to sell my £5m penthouse dockside apartment and they bloody go and put stamp duty up to 7% on sales over £2m. Bastards.

I laughed when George Osborne said it was a FAIR budget.

If you have one person in your family earning £50,001 you get no child benefit, but if you have two people in your family earning £50,000 each (i.e. £100k) you get to keep your child benefit.

This was a rich man's budget.

It certainly hasn't done me any favours. Normally a full chicken would last us three nights but now we have to eke out four nights meals from one bird.

I'm also having to spend £1.50 for half a dozen extra large free range eggs in the hope that I get a few double yokes amongst them.

For me and the dragon it's going to cost us £112 per month for tabs plus they are bullshitting when they say petrol prices will not go up. What's the betting it has gone up another 5p per litre by June ?

The only saving grace for me is that booze remains the same. At least I can just about afford to drown my sorrows.

For me, although not dais in Parliament, but read the full brief, its the increase in taxation on flights. When I first moved to Holland, just over 5 years ago I could pay just over GBP30 return and now with the new flights taxes etc etc and this new increase its literally going to be at least GBP35 one way!!! (prices stated are booking at least 3 months in advance)

Move back to the UK Chris, I can put you up until you get sorted. You can rub my feet every night for an hour to pay your way.
