Signing Holden was the best (only?) good decision Coyle made. Unfortunately once he got injured the wheels came off and Coyle was absolutely clueless about finding a solution. We certainly had out share of bad luck in that season but I do blame Coyle for getting us relegated.

Doffcocker's spot on in saying OC's system was reliant on Holden, our lack of a dynamic box to box midfielder today is the reason I don't think we could play 442 week in week out to any success. I've no doubt he'd be with a top 6 premier league side (and we'd be £10 million better off) without his injury problems.
