Fwiw I think Coyle is a busted flush. No Chairman worth his salt is going to risk a punt on Columba. A decent teetotal god fearing jock by all accounts but not cut out for management at the top level. I expect to see him resurrect his career in the SPL 2 which is probably about right for his talent.

I always ham it up a bit in the titles (as I assumed people would know by now) to get people to click them but his explanation is fairly ambiguous so the deal being knocked back is as likely as any other speculative explanation.

Yes Hipster, you get grief when you post a deliberately false and misleading article title that seems designed to be inflammatory and rake up arguments on this board about a time long past. At least from me. I appreciate you and I don't agree on various aspects of the current management or what needs to be done for the future of the club but until last night I'd always felt you were one of the more intelligent and reasonable posters on this forum. 

I personally find it disappointing that this article with it's false title and disparaging comment (Thanks Owen!) has been posted by someone I normally enjoy debating with even when on opposite sides of the fence. 

You can do better and you know it.

And "thanks owen" was a "catchphrase" started by Sluffy that everyone uses, jokingly, on the forum.
