Former Wanderers target Mikael Dyrestam has landed a deal with Norwegian side Alesund FK.
The 24-year-old defender missed out on a move to the Reebok because the Whites failed to agree terms on a compensation deal with his former club IFK Gothenburg.
Reports in Sweden suggest Alesund paid Gothenburg a “training fee” of 250,000 euros, or around £200,000.
Dyrestam also had a brief spell with Championship rivals Derby County last month.
