Went past The Cock on my way to the dentist on Tuesday, not been in there for many a year. Do they do 'veggie'?Breadman wrote:Yeah, it's changed from being a John Barras pub to a Flaming Grill, so it's been shut for a week or so.
It's not changed much physically but the menu's completely different.
The worst bit was the fact that they only appeared to have one working card reader which was being shared between about eight tills so it took an age to order!
As I say, it's early days as they've got a completely brand new team working in there, so we'll give 'em another go in a few weeks.
(And I hope it picks up because it's my local and is the only place we go for food where I can actually have a drink!)

While we're all here, hope Bonce & "The Flid" are both feeling ok after their recent ills.

Cheers Bread. Good old NHS did me proud. Brucie didn't come to visit me,the old bastard. Something about having to leave his rug in quarantine.

"Would you like a bag, sir?"
"No thanks, I've brought my own." (Points at Mrs B.)
