Spot on Bonce. We normally use Maris Pipers which do make good chips, they had none in Asda so I bought King Edwards. They have all broken up and we have had to brown them off in the oven!

On average, KP posts once a fortnight to say he's having Katsu Curry for tea and somebody asks: "What the hell's that? Is there real cat in it?" (I know, I've asked him myself), so don't worry about it, 58.
Karl's the only one on here who knows what it is.

I have to say that it is a favourite of mine, it's just like a stew really with either pork or chicken and some Japanese stock cubes and a few Thai sauces to add to the flavour served up with Jasmine rice.Breadman wrote:On average, KP posts once a fortnight to say he's having Katsu Curry for tea and somebody asks: "What the hell's that? Normally you would fry a pork loan in breadcrumbs and add when serving on top although this takes a bit more effort.
Just to be clear, my Mrs isn't Japanese before someone thinks that one up!
