Lets not forget that Muslim is not one religion but a collection of religions, just like Christianity is! As such each "sect" want their on place of worship - just as much as CofE, RC, Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox etc Christians want.
As for it being a "super mosque" lets look at a common Christian Church. Christian Churches normally contain The Church, the Rectory, Church Hall, Sunday school and some (not as many of there used to be) also contain a primary school - along with playground and parking areas as well as playing fields.
So isn't a "normal" Church actually a "super" Church because of what it contains? In other words what is the new Mosque doing any different to what the Christian Churches have done in the past - nothing!!! Even how it is being built is how Christian Churches were once built - money from the congregation!!!

Fair enough. If we can show what a tolerant bunch we are by allowing the mosque to be built, I see no reason why our Muslim brothers shouldn't reciprocate the 'bonhomie' by not raising objections to us building a super casino next door.

Do you need any quotes for the building of it, RT?

Modern Day UK breadwinner. Interesting read from a Doctor at one of London's leading hospitals.
Here's how a doctor explains it:
A woman in her late 20's came to the hospital today with her 8th pregnancy.
She said to me "My mum told me that I am the breadwinner for the family."
I asked her to explain. She said that she can make babies and babies get money from the State for the family.
It goes like this:
The Grandma calls the Department for work and pensions, and states that the unemployed daughter is not capable of caring for all of her kids. DWP agrees, and tells her the children will need to go into foster care.
The Grandma then volunteers to be the foster parent, and receives a cheque for £700 per child each month.
Total yearly income: £58,800 soon to become £67,200 when the 8th one is born, tax-free and nobody has to go to work! In fact, they get more if there is no husband/father/man in the home! The brother does not count.
Not to mention free dental treatment, free housing, free council tax, free school dinners, free tuition fees at college or Uni, free eyecare and glasses, free prescriptions and various other benefits...
Total value of all benefits combined probably approaching £100,000 per annum which would require an income of around £148,000 to create.
That's about my salary as a senior consultant with years of experience and surgical skills in a central London teaching hospital.
Indeed, Grandma was correct that her fertile daughter is the "breadwinner" for the family.
This is how the politicians spend our taxes. When this generous programme was invented in the '60s, the Great Society architects forgot to craft an end date... And now we are hopelessly overrun with people who vote only for those who will continue to keep them on the dole.....
No wonder our country is broke!
Worse, our Muslim brothers have been paying attention, and by mandating that each Muslim family have eleven children, they will soon replace the voting bloc above and can be running this country.
Are we alarmed ? Is anybody listening?
Sincerely,
Sebastian J. Ciancino - Urologist,

Best get the planning permissions in for the new houses that will be required, along with new schools (separate schools for boys and girls!), mosques etc etc etc. At this rate I will be raking it in and profiteering from the sudden increase in births!!!!

Neville Chamberlain would be thrilled to bits with the current policy of appeasement. I'm toying with the idea of enquiring about the possibility of submitting plans to have a Christian church built in Saudi Arabia. Now that would be a first.

Muslims get what the fuck they want.
I actually think the 2 people that run the Bolton planning committee are brothers in Islam aint they?
Funny how this mosque sails through the planning...

Is there a good reason why they shouldn't get planning permission though? They own the land so it would have to be something that could stand up legally?

On that theory, Like trotter said - if I or you owned a plot of land next to it, could I build a supercasino, massive pub or a pork processing factory on it?
could we fuck.

There is already a super mosque at the bottom of Halliwell Road so why the need to build another one less than a quarter of a mile away?

i've just been reading the comments section on the Bolton News website, this is going to stir up a lot of anger and the likes of the EDL will jump all over this.
I don't have a problem with mosques but it does seem that the bottom end of Halliwell rd and Blackburn rd are turning into mainly muslim areas with little or no integration. This is what causes the problems that have been seen in places like Blackburn and Rochdale.
