I agree. Hull need to win and I just can't see them doing it. Newcastle are lucky they have those points banked because they are complete shite. Feel sorry for their fans. They are good supporters and Ashley has wrecked the place.

Toon fans good supporters? They're up there with west ham as the most deluded dickheads in world football. Hope they come down

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!
I wouldn't say they're deluded. They just want a bit of ambition from the owner and passion and effort on the pitch, same as anyone else. If they got that they would be happy enough I think.Boggersbelief wrote:Bwfc1958 wrote:I agree. Hull need to win and I just can't see them doing it. I'm with boggers. Newcastle's fans are the most deluded in the country and the way they treated Big Sam during his tenure there really annoyed me. I was delighted when they went down and after the way they treated Chris Hughton and Alan Pardew I feel they really deserve to go down again.
And if Sam is fired by the Hammers on Monday as everyone expects I will be up front and say I hope they go down next year as well. For both teams (Magpies and Hammers) their fans and boards seem to feel they have a divine right to win based on the fact they had a decent side fifty years ago. They call themselves 'big clubs' when one hasn't won a sausage since 1980 and the other hasn't won a major trophy since the 1960's. Yes they have big fan bases and big crowds but that doesn't make them a 'big club'.
Big clubs win things and do it consistently.

Toon fans treated Hughton well, none of them wanted him sacked. Pardew's the smarmiest man in the world, fully understand their hatred.
Great set of fans.

50 thousand of them turn up every week and the atmosphere is fantastic.
can't really argue with that.

I've watched most of the "big" teams as a guest of various mates I've known over the years and the atmosphere at Newcastle was by far and away the best.
Far from conclusive, I know but I've got a lot of time for Newcastle fans.

Was up there for a funeral recently, and they were pretty sure they were safe. Don't think they expected it to come down to the last game.
Like Bread,I've got a lot of time for the Toon supporters. Still recovering from my evening in the Old George.
I think they'll survive. I nearly didn't!

Yeah, they turn up and leave 30 minutes in if they're losing.

If Sunderland keep their man I can't see him in the prem.
He loves it in London,so Fulham might be an option.
