Bolton Wanderers defender Alex Baptiste has been given a police caution after an incident outside a nightclub.

Baptiste, aged 28, who is currently on loan at Blackburn Wanderers, was arrested in July on suspicion of actual bodily harm following an alleged brawl outside UBER bar in Poulton-le-Flyde, near Blackpool.

Baptiste, who lives in Lytham, Lancashire, was given a caution for assault when he answered police bail, Lancashire police have confirmed.

No action will be taken against a 23-year-old man who was also arrested after the incident.

It was alleged that a man was knocked unconscious and lost several teeth in the incident, which happened at 1.35am on Saturday, June 28.

It was said to have happened after a man touched Baptiste's wife's bottom.

If somebody groped Wendy he'd be lucky to get out of intensive care in less than a decade and THEN Wendy MIGHT let me have a go at him.  Laughing

In all seriousness, if someone was to grab Wendy's bum then I think I'd rip his lungs out and feed him his testicles. I appreciate Alex probably broke the law and some would call it an over reaction but I don't. A man who fondles a woman against her will is a scumbag and if he's dumb enough to do it in front of her husband then he's also a freaking idiot who deserves whatever happens to him next.

Good on you Alex and given that you only got a caution I suspect the Police weren't exactly falling all over themselves to help your "victim".
