Internet Trolls: Are They Unfairly Picked On?

Another day, and another "celebrity" is having a pop at internet tolls. This time it's Gary Lineker because people are giving him abuse about something he tweeted about pooing on the football pitch.

If he didn't want abuse he shouldn't have tweeted about his toilet habits.

I have no time for a minority of internet trolls that post abuse to grieving families or make false accusations about people being perverts, but generally internet trolls are doing a good thing - slagging off tossers who think being on the internet gives them the right to tell the world about their boring lives and opinions.

Have you ever been a victim of an internet troll, and did you deserve it?

Can anyone stay on topic? This is about the cruel treatment of internet trolls.

Lampooning is fine, abusing is not.

I doubt 99% of the internet trolls even know what lampooning is though.
