Will that be it for Freedman? Just so we have a heads up of thoughts as to where we're at.

Doubt he's getting sacked unless there's a repeat of Reading. Lose again though, and he'll only have a couple of games to save his job IMO.

If we get hammered tomorrow and lose our next home game it may well be the end. Fingers crossed.

Didn't you spend most of last season posting that same comment?

Lets just pretend he does get sacked, there'll be a thread like this within 3 weeks for the new guy.

The truth might hurt you , as your long haired hero might be on his way out, but you've got to face the fact, he's not getting any better is he, face the music son, just face it, you'll feel better I promise you.Boggersbelief wrote:Ridiculous thread.

Yes, but the bastard kept winning games.

Drop him off at Palace and ask for a refund. Unlike DF we have a plan B the ground around the hanging tree has been cleared of debris and the drop measured under the quick release chair.

But we expect to lose tomorrow don't we? What's all the fuss about?
Brighton have a better team than us, our defence will give them at least one goal start and we haven't managed to get a goal threat of our own because we're skint and shit and nobody wants to play for us.
What might cause a stir is if we don't lose tomorrow. Now that would be novel.

Personally I can't see him getting sacked anytime soon. Even if we're in the bottom 3 at Christmas I doubt he'll be potted. Phil (and by extension Ed) seem perfectly content with the status quo and unless we actually DO go down Dougie will be here til at least the end of his current deal and may well be offered another assuming we survive in the championship.
I know he should be sacked but right now I don't see it happening so long as we don't get relegated again.

I'd be surprised if he was still here if we're in or very close to the bottom 3 come christmas - not even our board are that stupid.

In theory I agree although in practice they may struggle to find anyone willing to consider taking on the job.aaron_bwfc wrote:I'd be surprised if he was still here if we're in or very close to the bottom 3 come christmas
Right now our kudos is rock bottom and we've been written off by everyone including potential signings, other clubs and potential managers. So I suspect we're stuck with Dougie and our only hope is that he turns it around and builds from there.
