One of the Franklin Arctic ships that was lost nearly 170 years ago has been found. This will mean nothing to most of you, but trust me, this is more sensational than Dougie Freedman being sacked.

In 1845 a British voyage departed England to explore the Arctic. It was led by Captain Sir John Franklin.

The two ships in the expedition and all 128 men on board went missing, never to be seen again.

Imagine what it will be like for someone setting foot on that ship, it really will be like going back in time. Will there be clues to what happened to the men?

I am so excited, are you? Don't you just love stuff like this?

I thought this thread was going to be about going into Dave's sex shop to buy your first vibrator.

I remember watching a documentary about this a few years back which suggested that they all went mad from lead poisoning and started eating each other.

Or was that The Walking Dead......?

They dug up a few of the bodies some time ago.
Sensational news that they've found one of the ships though.

See what you did there.
Muggins here read the title and thought of Dougie.
A bunch of guys who allegedly tried cannibalism, didn't like it and as a result, starved themselves to death making a break for it on an icefield at the top of the planet wasn't the first thing to spring to mind.
Tastes just like chicken, apparently.
I guess none of them liked chicken.

What a story though. After nearly 170 years someone is going to set foot on that ship. Incredible.
