it would be his 3rd game in 3 days - I guess he's not that fit enough yet, especially after such a long time out?

looks quite attacking for an away match, has Dougie been kidnapped and been replaced by his more adventurous Doppelganger?

He will be more likely to be an impact sub. But surprised Danzy is dropped.

If Spearing wasn't Captain he would have been dropped by now, Medo deserves a go in his place.

Yeah thought Danns was maybe the best player the other night.

I can see why Aberdeenshire is famous for it's humour.

I think we'll win then.
We'll just go for it.

Serious question now.
I missed it all today (no radio, no chatbox, no telly), so I've genuinely no idea how it all panned out.
I know we lost 0-1, but beyond that I haven't a clue.
Did we look any better or was it the same old same old?
Cheers.

same old same old Breaders, we had chances early on and missed them but then Wolves got on top and dominated. A clanger from Lonergan gifted them a goal. Second half Dougie forgot we were losing and brought off Mason for Danns and went one up front. We also got a penalty and missed it!

Same old I'm afraid Bread. Lonergan howler for their goal, we missed a penalty taken by Garvan. Mason had a shocker and at 1-0 DOWN Dougie replaced him with Danns and put Danns at Centre-Forward in front of Beckford if the radio comms are to be believed.Breadman wrote:Serious question now.

Overall our play was poor, we had much less possession than wolves and we were woefully wasteful with what chances did come our way even before the penalty was missed by Garvan along with the rebound.
Frankly we looked as bad as we did against Leeds and Bury if not more so according to what I heard on the commentary. Perhaps someone who was actually at the game saw things differently but it seems we were bereft of movement, ideas, competence and confidence.

From what I've heard from my Dad who went to the game, it was no bloodbath as many had predicted and Bolton were the better side in the second half. No one in the stand seemed to understand Dougie's team or the subs.
Micky Adams was sat in the Director's Box though.

It was all Bolton in the second half, missed a pen , shots at will, we played well but got nothing.
