He never once mentioned the Barclays Premier League either! To be fair to him , he is fighting for his job as well. If the team can play at the same tempo that they did in the second half then I think we will survive. Two homes, two aways, it's not over until the Fat Bastard whinges.

In the interview immediately after the match, he said he gave them a 'blasting' Good to see that he is finally showing that he is normal, and not the all-accepting angel that he has portrayed so far

0-o at half time. The first half was all Villa. Second half SKD comes on for Myachi. We concede a goal to Warnock and heads drop. Less than a minute later we get a penalty. Petrov grabs the ball and buries it. Villa are shell shocked and their fans look post mortem.
We then attack full of confidence and Ngog bags us the winner within minutes of the penalty. The Villa fans start deserting Villa park quicker than the Titanic and Bolton Hater is nowhere to be found.

64 seconds between our goals. All three goals within 3 minutes

You only get that level of play in English football.

I'm in Marmaris at the moment with my dad, and we had a job and half finding a bar that would show the game, as obviously most people were only interested in Chelsea tonight.
We eventually found somewhere that were willing to put Bolton Villa on the smallest of their 95 screens, and there were a couple of Villa fans there too, so it ended up being very enjoyable!
The feeling when the second goal went in and being just two people of a crowd of about 200 celebrating in our Wanderers shirts felt pretty special.
I wasn't impressed with the performance one bit tonight, from Coyle or the players but I'm just going to enjoy the result!
The Turks with an eye on the game were keen to find out how a slow, generally ineffective 35 year old could get 45 minutes when Sanli Tuncay can't get a sniff!

First half we were shite. When your mate Kevin Davies came on in the second half we were the better team.

There was a thread about OC being all PR and it was mentioned that what matters is what he says to the lads behind closed doors. It's very reassuring to know that he isn't afraid to give them a bollocking when required - and that it works.
