The weather today

Small earthquake here. Epicentre was in Wales.

Probably Madine in some boozer.

I felt it, and there was no mistake as to what it was, Strange feeling.

The beast from the east is hitting the Royal Borough as the snow begins to fall here.

I think were becoming a real mamby pamby nation, and our meteorologists aren't helping when they make things sound so much worse than they are. Having said that, the wind is making it bloody cold today, and things haven't started going down hill yet. Armageddon isn't due until Wednesday/Thursday.

I just enjoyed a bracing 45 minute walk from the train station up Chorley Old Road to the Doffcocker area.No snow, no wind, temps around freezing, hat and gloves needed, the soil is frozen.
Was reminiscing about the winter 7 or 8 years ago when there were still snowdrifts blocking country lanes around Scout Road as late as Easter Saturday

Wintery in Birchwood. I really should stay away from the pond,but it's frozen. What could possibly go wrong?

Gutted the kids are in school.  Plus I've gout to go to glossop at 2

Forget going to Glossop today Johnny, it will be impossible. We have friends who live there and when it snows it's murder up there.

Im not there til 2.  But then I'm there for til about 8.  I think I'll be alright getting there just not back.

I'm stuck.  Think i may be spending the night in the car.

Its taken me over 4 hours to do 14 miles.  Just got back now.  I had a bag of mccoys and a bottle of pepsi max luckily.  Thank god im only in trafford park tomorrow
