I'm posting this to see if it's removed. If so, just PM me BDP and we'll see if the taboo subject of "what is acceptable and who decides" can be conducted through the medium of private messages.

Seems like Groundhog Day but haven't we had this conversation before somewhere KP?

FWIW I think BDP has a point in asking about where the boundaries are and who determines if a post is OK or not because of the inconsistencies.

Whether or not a thread is the best/correct way to address the question is another matter.

But BDPs original point is fair IMO

there has to be some kind of moderating on a site like this or it will all get out of hand very quickly and lead to multiple bans which i'm sure no one wants

i think we need to shy away from all this i go to matches and you don't, its pointless. We all follow the Super Whites in our own way, why else would we spend so much time on here talking bollocks

If people are allowed to say they're going to petrol bomb someone surely I can say someone doesn't attend games.

Nobody wants that and of course there should be moderation but BDP was asking what is allowed and what isn't.

You'd think it would be obvious, but there are inconsistencies: a joke was removed because it was deemed to be racist (haven't seen it so can't comment on the content) - but fair enough.
And yet a thread entitled "It's Crazy Islamist Time again" which selectively points out issues with Muslims - and only Muslims - is allowed to run and run.

So is it not fair to ask who decides what is racist and what isn't racist and on what criteria?

Surely knowing where the goalposts are is the best way to ensure that multiple bans don't happen?
