I said earlier I see us getting nothing, now I'm starting to believe we'll snatch a draw late on as long as there's only a goal in it with 70 minutes gone. Still think Spurs will take a very early lead though.

My concern is that Coyle's up and at 'em approach which has done so much to get us precious points recently will play straight into the Spuds pacy counterattacking plan.
Rovers played Megson-style 8 back and managed to keep them at bay for the most part (I thought the second goal was never going to come) but there's no way that OC will do anything other than commit players forward in search of a goal and that may be our undoing.
If we go for it and actually score first it will get very interesting.

I'm not saying Spurs won't win but they didn't play particularly well against Blackburn.
it was more a huff and puff performance.
a "professional" victory.
Blackburn basically turned up to get beat and offered nothing.
we WILL offer more going forward, no question.

I don't think Spurs could have done much more with Rovers playing a back 8. I know we'll offer more going forward but we'll offer a lot less at the back, and with Bale, Lennon and Adebayor breaking at pace we can only hope our lads can cope.

I think there should be a chant of 'Coyle for England' just to wind up the tax avoider.
I listened to the Spurs v Blackburn game in the bath (with a large whiskey or two) and the Radio5 team reckoned that Tottenham could have scored five or six.

I disagree. Spurs were pretty decent and had a lot of good chances. Blackburn, despite playing more than 5 at the back were lucky to only concede two.

I think Coyle will pick the same team as against Sunderland except with Vela (if Pratley's still ill).
KDavies will be ineffective, we'll pose no threat in the final third and we'll lose 2-0.

I will be more than happy with a point tomorrow night. 1-1 Kevin Davies to score.

I'd like to see Davies and Sordell start up front. Davies can win the headers and knock the ball down to Sordell. On the negative side Kyle Walker and Bale are a real handful at getting forward so we really need five in midfield.

Going for a draw - a no-score draw. Its going to be one of those boring Skysports games!

Spurs are on a poor run away from home, we can get something from this game.
1-1, Davies.

We need to score first IMO, if they do I predict a 3-1 to spurs but 2-0 for us if we get the opener.

I'm leaving at 7pm. Just hope the players go to as much trouble in putting in an appearance as the fans.

Decent first half, great Spurs goal, Boyata should have equalised, Ngog keeps passing to Spurs.

The Ref is a wanker. We keep making the same mistakes though - something goes wrong, our heads drop and we concede...
