I don't rate either of them, but I think Spearing works harder and is more likely to pop up with an assist or goal.

Medos got a better long shot, touch  and pass than Spearing. 

The only value Spearing has is his delivery from free kicks which can be very good, more often than not though even they are wasted.

I'd give Medo a fair shot under Lennon before ruling him out.  I would imagine Spearing back in for the Blackpool game though.

I'd fuck them both off. Vela is better, more composed on the ball and he sees passes that the other two don't.

Defensively Medo offers more than Vela, but you're right about Velas passing. I hope he gets his chance, his performances at RB have shown he's got enough about him to mix it up and not get bullied.

Perhaps this opens the door for Eidur to make a return? He definitely can split defences.

I'd rather vela in the team than Mavies, Mavies is just not cut out to be a footballer.

He was superb in the play-off surge a couple seasons ago. He could pass, shoot, he was hard as nails in the tackle.

I've seen worse players completely turn their career around under a new manager.

Since all the players have improved since they shook off Dougie's shackles isn't it safe to assume that Medo will also improve accordingly?

I'd like to see Medo in a more forward role. It will be interesting to see what Lennon thinks.

karly Holden's not under contract to us or being paid by us. So he's technically "gone" already mate. 

As to Mavies, well, it's hard to disagree but I have to ask if there's something behind the number of BWFC players who've picked up knee injuries in the last few seasons. Is there something up with the pitch?

In Mavies's case, this isn't a new problem. He's had problems with his knees since his time at Wolves, I also know his younger brother who was at Walsall but had to pack in because of knee problems.

What surprises me is how you all just want to get rid of him. Nothing like standing by your player when he's down is there ?

I think what people are saying is that we can't afford to carry Mavies anymore. He is no doubt one of the highest earners and for 12 games a year or whatever the number is?  We just can't afford it IMO.  And we have stood by him for five years now already.

I think it's hilarious that we get numpties on here that pass opinion on the finances as if they are actually running the club. How the fcuk do you you know we can't afford Mavies' wages?
