Do you enjoy going to your work xmas do?

Does your company frown if you don't attend?

Got mine tonight and stupidly agreed to go. Call me a grinch or scrooge or whatever but sitting having a meal with people i don't usually socialise with and are probably chinged off their tits is not my idea of enjoyment.

my last company used to make you go to everything and frowned if you didnt attend. My new company aren't really arsed whether you go or not but only found this out after saying id attend.

if anyone else is at a do at portland st thistle in manchester tonight (its one of them shared function things), look for that fat miserable git!!!!

I force all my employees to attend the Christmas Do so they can thank me for being a brilliant boss.

Last year two of them were caught shagging in the toilets, and they weren't even shagging the people they came with. Both were dismissed on the spot.

Interesting. Never knew KP and magoo used to work for you Nat. You did the right thing firing them.

Mrs B's lot have their do at the De Vere Whites every year and every year we blow it off.

It's free booze all night but the catch is, you have to spend the whole night in the company of a load of car salesmen who all think they're dead cool in their pointy shoes and shit beards but who in actual fact, are a bunch of vacuous twats who all talk utter bollocks the whole time because they are off their faces on coke and Lambrini.

I would honestly rather stick my balls in a mincer than attend one of their do's.

I've spent the last 15 years flitting about on a self-employed "consultant" basis and I generally don't work round Christmas, so I haven't had to endure one of my own in all that time.

Thank fuck.

I have just had a look on the BoltonNuts jobsite and there are plenty of vacancies depending on your talents.

The Huffington Post are advertising for an assistant proof reader based in North Devon and the pay is £9.50 an hour.

BombayTV are advertising for a stunt man at their Canterbury studios. ( £9.50 per hour )

MindersrUs are looking for a celebrity minder to cover the Esher area ( rates negotiable ).

Local Bolton professional heavyweight boxer Mighty Whitey 84 is looking for a punchbag. ( Will consider second hand )

Let me know what kind of work you are looking for and I will get back to you when I have less time.

We went to Ciao Baby near Egerton for ours, very nice food - though you have never seen a main course arrive so fast after finishing our starters.

I think Angelos is the best restaurant in Egerton. It's not very big but it's intimate and cosy and the Italian food is very authentic and delicious.

We are going for an Indian meal for our Xmas do on Thursday.

I've been working for myself for over 25 years and find I keep meeting the same folk on the engineering circuit.
I didn't normally do Xmas pissups but I've been where I am for the past couple of years and the do they have is pretty good. The folk are more or less all decent folk who I could go for a pint with out of work.
