Nice one Johnny, really good article that. I didn't actually realise Deano found the net that many times for us. There's only 2 of his goals that really stick in my mind, one against Liverpool that went in under the keeper from outside the box and one against palace away in the first game of the season after we got relegated when Gunlaugsson scored a cracker in the last minute to equalise.

Another year has passed,
Christmas is almost here,
Unfortunately we support the wanderers,
So there's nothing much to cheer.

The super whites can't buy a win,
The team's a load of shit,
There's no bottle in the players,
They seem to want to quit.

The club have asked for fans full backing,
This important festive season,
The players need to step up to the plate,
And give those fans a reason.

Neil Lennons struggling,
His hands are truly tied, 
When gartside told him he'd have money,
The smarmy fucker lied.

There's so much doom and gloom this year, 
We could all do with a lift,
A new investor with cash to burn,
Would be the perfect Christmas gift.

So as it stands we're playing crap, 
And heading for relegation,
The idiots that run the club,
Have us close to liquidation. 

With a bit of luck in the next few days,
A takeover will be much nearer,
Everything will look much better, 
As we march into a new era. 

Much more likely though this Christmas,
The team will all get pissed, 
We'll get thoroughly hammered on new years day, 
and lennon will get dismissed. 

The new owner of the club,
Could be a man who defrauded bankers,
I'm still not sure he's any worse,
Than the current set of wankers. 

So hopefully in this new year,
When we've finished singing carols,
Lennon has more cash to spend,
With no more scraping barrels.

Even though we're in the mire,
No reason to be happy at all,
We're all in it together as Bolton fans,
MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL!!
