Iirc there was always a way that you could delete your account on here but we never saw the need for the feature as if people didn't want to post on here they simply wouldn't - no need to go to the trouble of deleting their whole account too.

To be honest I'd forgot all about it as Admin can delete accounts anyway - not as though we would unless the account holder requested it for some private reason or other.

With Johnny going, BTID has had a look at how to delete accounts on here and found the way to do it - I guess Barb has too.

I personally would have no problem about posting up how it is done but BTID is worried that people might delete themselves by mistake if we put it up - knowing how accident prone some of you are on here, he's probably right too!

Seeing as it was BITD who rediscovered how to do it and that he doesn't want it to be widely known I obviously will respect his wish.

If however you want to set up a fake account with the intention of trying to pot your new fake account, then be our guest and we will for this purpose only, allow you to have a duplicate account for a day or so.

Try not to delete the whole of Nuts whilst you are at it though please.

Yes it is only the internet and all that but he wore his heart on his sleeve, he did have principles and he made us all laugh.
