Do you know what, it winds me up something chronic how this absolute halfwit has such a high position in English football - assistant England manager, under 21 manager, Team GB manager. The guy is absolutely rubbish. He's never done anything whatsoever as a manager. Last summer the Under 21 team were worse than pathetic and yet he still gets a pat on the back. He was interim England manager for one game - and he lost that. He didn't pick Beckham for the olympics and England were nothing short of ordinary.

Why is the absolute bellend so highly regarded by the FA? Its crazy.

I agree. The problem as I see it is that genuinely talented young managers would rather be a PL manager than hold any of the posts Pearce does.

The FA tend to pick people who won't give them any problems and will do as they're told. One day we might get an FA that actually want to win something.

I am baffled at what credentials he has to take high profile roles.
