Nixon tweet - BOLTON. Vela's move to a new agent is an interesting one. His adviser also works for Phil Parkinson. Good sign or bad?

A tweet to him later - Is this what you were referring to yesterday Al? I couldn’t see anything about Bolton in the paper this morning.

Nixon's reply - Yes.

Me too! Looks like the deck clearing is taking longer than expected or our American friend has lost interest now that the option of buying from the receiver without Anderson on board has faded. I'll give a couple more weeks before losing hope entirely.

I am also finding it difficult to believe that Nixon would make a point if suggesting there's some big news coming out today and that this is it. However it could be big news if we get a few more million for Vela to prop up Anderson's tenuous grip on the club for a bit longer by making the accounts look less dire - as he did with the Madine money last year. Shame really because BWFC deserves better than an ongoing asset sale.
Perhaps the money from the sale of Vela was promised to the people that supported him earlier in the week?

Who is going to pay big money for Vela?

Reckon we'd get a lot more for Olkowski in January.
