I don't believe Freedman would have left Palace had he done more research into the actual quality at our disposal. We've got tonnes of players that the neutrals assume to be great assets, but actually aren't - not this season, at least. Even Eagles is a liability at times.

It sounds like Dougie's now having his doubts about the actual strength of the squad.

I'd go for Ross Barkley! Just gone back to everton looked great for sheffield.

I'm sure there is plenty "rumour in the story" Chris, whatever that means - but there's certainly no truth that he will be coming to join us any time soon and I can think of at least £15 million reasons why not!

there must be a good goalscorer who has been frozen out of a premier league club desperate for games.

Kenwyne Jones or Cameron Jerome were supposed to be on the loan list from stoke, wortha punt on either?

Jones for sure, Jerome is more a battering ram type player not sure we need another one of them but if he's motivated who knows.
