I think Doogie will go for defenders on loan. A striker is going to come in and displace SKD??? I can't see it. We have Ngog, Sordell, Eaves, Adofe already here who can't get a proper run or a look in..... so a bloke who can't get into someone else's team is going to come here and light it up???

I like Kenwyne Jones as a striker and I think he could do a job for us. John Guidetti is a player I don't want us to loan, though - I want him signed long term.

Why wouldn't you want to loan John Guidetti?

I'd loan him with a view to a permanent deal in January. I wouldn't want any arrangement with him to be just a loan.

I would have Bent without hesitation. His record in the top flight certainly passes muster. Kenwyn Jones is another that I would take but Jerome I would give a miss.

Fantasy football strikes again. A striker is a "nice to have", a defence is a "must have" in our case.

At least he is sending the young lads out to get game time, unlike coyle who did fuck all with them for months.

Who knows Wylde may have a great month at Bury and come back in the new year and do well.
