Nothings going to happen i'm sure of it, probably the quietest transfer deadline in a few years for us....not that it's ever been that busy in the past.

I would like to think Dougie is working on 2 or 3 deals in the final hours after your disastrous start. I think you need Dawson to come in, maybe a good DM like Tiote and a striker like Jordan Rhodes. Apparently Wigan have offered £6m for him. If you have any ambition to get back into the Premiership you should go out and spend £20m today on quality players now!

I agree, clearly we can't afford to bring anyone in so the next best thing is making better use of what we have.

He's shown he's not afraid of making big decisions, he needs to do it again.

Ream - played well in DM but has struggled in the past at CB.

Baptiste to the middle, not tried it yet, worth a shot.

Mills - obviously not wanted, can't see him being motivated knowing he's on the buffers.

Baptiste regularly played at CB for Blackpool and its his best position. I'd move him next to wheater and try this Hayden white at RB.

What else can we do? He won't be any worse than mears.

All we can do is try other combinations, Ream and Wheater is worth a try IMO they've performed well together before. With Ream being quick and better on the ball he should be a good foil for Wheater who's pretty similar to Knight. At least Ream's confidence should have improved from his display against QPR.

If not, as Boggers says give Baptiste a try there. I think he's looked decent so far and the fact he can play anywhere is a big plus, we should use that.

Either way Dougie's said players aren't pulling their weight and needs to be true to his word to give others a go. There's still the loan window for him to bring others in anyway.

It'll be virtually the same team v Leeds.
