He tells it as he sees it but I wouldn't like him to be running the country!

So in a world where 75% of the people are religious you found one example of religion gone bad.

If you go to the BBC News website you'll see a whole list of incidents that had nowt to do with religion, but of course you don't highlight those.

Bellend.

Ignoring the factual vacuum of the rest of the post what else do you suggest I post in a thread about Islamic atrocities?

We both know you spend your days searching for these stories.

I notice you didn't post about Aberdeen being voted the worst city in the country.

I actually don't search, it was the lead in story on some news websites today quite rightly.

There's been absolutely no corroboration regarding that story. It doesn't appear on the BBC website. It might as well have been reported by Boggers.

someone pushed off a building and stoned for being gay.

Nats first concern "could we be wrong about ISIS?" "Is this story fair on ISIS"

Laughing

Aside from an internet WUM though I haven't seen or heard a view like that expressed anywhere else? I think everybody regards this lot in the same light. My main question is what do we do about it? Every time we seem to get involved in foreign affaris we seem to fuck things up even more.

This sort of thing isn't confined to Islam by the way.

This is an interesting video, a group of british Muslims discussing ISIS, some seem dead against ISIS idea of the Caliphate others seem to think it's just under Islam, some seem sort of in the middle.

It does underline that not all "moderate" muslims are against this, and not all "moderate" muslims are for it either, but it's certainly not cut and dry as the politicians would have you believe.

but they all agree that the word of Allah as laid out in the Quran and Hadith trumps everything else.

More debates like this at a higher level would be very interesting to me, instead of shying away from them because of fear.

So you believe it because the Daily Mail told you?

Interesting that the BBC haven't reported it.

The guy in the chair could have been anyone - a kiddie fiddler, a rapist etc.

Nat you do know ISIS publish this footage originally and describe the man as having homosexual relations, thats the reason they pushed him and others off buildings. The mail is taking this from ISIS themselves.

If he was a kiddie fiddler why didn't they call him that.

Daily Mail? It's in just about every publication, I saw it on the Independent's site this morning.

Your last point is questionable, would throwing a man from a building and stoning him to death with no trial at all be fair for any crime?
