I know this is probably not going to happen but it's a good rumour. The Icelandic connection has worked out for us before and maybe now Eidur is using the influence Gudni once used for us to great effect? Until last year, Finnbogason had an excellent goals to games ratio but seems to have gone off the boil so it makes sense that Real Sociedad would want to get rid. He's still only 26 so could be a great signing if it happens.
That said, we already have 2 or 3 decent young strikers plus Madine and the two old stagers so I'm struggling to see how another striker is a priority for next season. Isn't six enough or am I missing something?
Who are these 2/3 decent young strikers? Madine will only be used as a plan B, likewise Heskey who isn't good enough to fire us to promotion
