If you've not caught it already, have a listen to this bumbling slice of ineptitude from Natalie Bennett, leader of the Green Party:

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/green-party/11431756/Green-Partys-Natalie-Bennett-gives-excruciating-radio-interview.html

At least Farage is quick witted enough to make something up on the spot when cornered......

...unlike this poor cow.

"Vote Green - We haven't got a fucking clue but we like trees!"

Awful, awful interview. To be honest her last couple of appearances have convinced me they're not worth voting for I like Caroline Lucas but never been convinced by Bennett.

The Greens are spot on with a lot of their policies (basically the polar opposite of all of UKIPs) but like all the other parties a change in leadership would help.

So you admit Nigel would make a better leader?

The greens get in power, we get invaded. Simple as that.

Once they have decimated our armed forces and replaced them with African children armed with rose petals and daisy chains, we will never be able to defend ourselves again.

Plus your electricity bills will treble... anything that pumps even a TINY bit of pollution in to the atmosphere will be outlawed, they will spend billions building hydro-electric dams and wind farms that don't work... so eventually your electricity will be on a quota system of say 2 hours a day...

But hey, the world will thank us...

A leader being charismatic should come after their policies in terms of importance. So no Nigel Farage would be a terrible leader he'd completely ruin the country.

y'know, for a party of no hopers UKIP certainly gets a lot of air time on here.

If there's one opinion I take seriously on here it's yours Rebel. You always manage to stay objective mate.

We'd get some laughs with Nigel in charge, isn't happiness the greatest gift you can receive?

He's right about that issue though - we'd be a sitting duck for invasion with the Green Party running the show.

Rebel,

Serious question now:

That house you bought last year near Chorley - is it really a house or is it a Doomsday Prepper's bunker?

You seem convinced that this country is currently poised precariously on the brink of annihilation from the likes of IS and Putin's Russia.

Do you bathe in a tin hat?

Their policy is to reduce the armed forces over a long period of time to a level suitable for defence of the country. We have the 5th strongest army in the world at this point, for a country our size with the allies we have that's ridiculous and if we weren't getting involved in foreign wars it would be near obsolete. It should  definitely be reduced, who exactly is about to invade us?

He thought we were going to be invaded by North Korea last year, I'm amazed he chose Buckshaw Village over Switzerland.

A totally scary post. Hang your head in shame. The fact no one invades us is the fact we are well defended.

No Its not.

However, I do have a BOB... for any SHTF moments.

I just believe, with justification, that a country needs to be able to defend itself. The greens disagree with me.

We don't need a smaller Armed Force, we need a bigger one. we need 2 Trident subs on patrol at all times not one, our navy needs more ships, We need to get our aircraft carriers to sea ASAP.

We need the wherewithal to defend ourselves independently without relying on NATO, chances are, if it ever does go pear shaped, half of the NATO countries would suddenly decide it wasn't for them and would fuck us off.

We need a bigger army with better equipment to see off any land threat.

We need a bigger navy to protect our borders should we ever have to.

We need a bigger air force to shoot down any planes that try to bomb us.

We need a more formidable nuclear deterrent to do just that, DETER threats - the greens wouldn't have the bottle to retaliate if we ever had too. If we were ever wiped out, id want to know the country that did it would also be wiped out. I believe the MAD doctrine works.

I've seen how cruel the world can be in my younger days, I understand we need to be able to take on any threat that may (or may not - cant take that chance im afraid) rear its head.

I can assure you, the UK is no longer a major world player as far as the armed forces go.
