Where else would you see an eloquent, insightful comment from the PPC for X right underneath a garbled mess of unintelligible drivel from a borderline retarded psychotic?

(Apart from at Westminster, I mean.)
Right and what the fuck has that got to do with the first Teddy Boys now being in their seventies? Don't see them on street corners looking for trouble now do you,you can thank the Tories for that and skinheads when was the last time a skinhead came in your house and bummed your butler fucking ages ago thanks to the Tories, vote Tory if you don't want trouble like that again and as a plus unlike labour they do a pretty decent economy.

Show me which Tory  Govt in their whole history left power leaving a good economy.

Major and Thatcher both left a strong economy despite various problems.

Like the decimation of a manufacturing industry?
The closing of pits and the import of coal?
Labour shut down more pits than the Tories
The difference was that Labour closed  uneconomic pits in agreement with the mining unions and the NCB, to strengthen the coal industry, Thatcher appointed an henchman (Macgregor) to systematically decimate the industry.

Not sure how old you are but guessing young going off your terminology, i have worked in the industry all my life, i survived 21 redundancies in 18 years of Tory misrule, don't take light something that effected the lives of thousands of good working people.

The Teddy Boys are still causing trouble down our way Jake. They hang about the offy on their shopmobility scooters, throwing Werthers Originals at the windows, asking passers by to go inside and buy them a jar of Vick Vapour Rub,and generally being a nuisance.
It's a bloody disgrace.

Just for a minute there, I thought I was reading an unedited transcript of Prime Minister's Questions with all the obnoxious, childish, ignorant name-calling and embarrassing antics of the Tory Eton set.......and they wonder why the public is so disenchanted with politics!

Children in school would not be allowed to debate in such a disrespectful manner; sadly, they have no worthwhile role-models to aspire to.

You've got to bear in mind that Jake / AD isn't a real person.

He's an (allegedly) comic creation of one of the regulars on here.

Yeah, dead funny, isn't he....?

Not sure where you have that info from but he isn't a "made up" character from one of the back room staff here.

Just read your post again! Very Happy

Communities relied on mining for an existence.
I'll bet your hero Lennon would have been really impressed with Thatcher?
In fact if he had met you I bet he'd tell you to stop listening to his music!?! Very Happy

Didn't say he was, KP.

Anyway, I'm not interested in showing him up - he's done a brilliant job of that on this thread himself.

The dullard. Very Happy

Good point about Tories' diabolical choice of Gove for Education Minister, Bonce; this loathsome creature did more harm than could possibly be imagined, yet somehow Cameron's infallible ability to misjudge characters to be his friends, colleagues and allies has somehow brought about the appointment of someone almost as appalling at the helm of education now:-Nicky Morgan is indeed an empty vessel with little brain or talent.

I suppose Andy Coulson was Dave's biggest blunder but how many others has he been utterly stupid to put his trust in? I do not want a man of such abysmal lack of judgement in power any longer.

Spot on about Nicky Morgan. I watch her through my fingers whenever she's on telly.
Utterly clueless.

I'm late to the party again but there are a few things I'd like to say.

First - Angry Dad / Jake  - I deleted one of his posts for personal abuse last night before I went to bed.  He reposted again before I got up this morning!  The abuse against Bread earlier on on this thread was totally unwarrented and not what this forum is about.

We've banned him before for abuse - and purposley did NOT reinstate his AD account when he returned under his current guise.

My tolerance of him is extremely low - he's being given a whole series of chances - more even than Jeremy Clarkson had - and look whats happened to him.

Enough is enough - any more and he's gone - and for good.

And that IS meant.

As for Manda, my politics are not Libdem but I do respect any politician who cares about making a positive difference for the electorate they represent and I believe you do.

I wish you the very best.

Hope you win although I think the odds are stacked against you due to the nature of 'party' politics and how the majority of people vote for the party rather than the best person standing.

As for politics itself.  It's obvious that people on the whole vote for the party they believe best represents them.  The Conservatives are funded by wealthy individuals and so issues such as tax reduction, cut backs on the welfare services, more business opportunities and the privatisation of more public services are more relevant to them than the Labour party who is funded by the Trade Unions and working class party members, whose more concerned about improving basic services to the public like health, social benefits and housing, education and keeping people in jobs, all being funded by higher taxation.

One system exploits the masses, the other is ripe for being exploited by the masses - neither is perfect and it is often assumed the answer lies somewhere in the middle between the two.

I've worked for nearly three decades in the public sector and a dozen or so years in my own business, so I've seen and experienced the arguements from both sides.

It's no coincidence that this country has been flooded with cheap labour over the years - first probably the Irish, then the West Indians, then Asians and now east europeans, whilst our own people have turned their noses up at doing low paid work and rather live on benefits and have kids to get council houses.

For years I've seen many a work colleague clock in for work, then put their make up on, make a cup of tea, chat about soaps or the football, have a look on facebook, check out the cricket scores, etc, etc, etc - whilst all the time bring paid!  It happens equally both in the private and public sectors.  It's human nature.

Maybe if people are taken off benefits and everybody is paid by results things will change - but that isn't ever going to happen.  So people will continue to vote for their own type and blame their opposites for the country's failings - and nothing much will ever change.

That's probably why I seldom if ever vote or get too wound up about political arguements.

Going back to the original title of the thread, all the evidence points to the fact that Natasha has got it completely the wrong way round: all the intelligent, articulate comments emanate from those who oppose DC, Thatcher and the Tory party; all the abusive, semi-literate, witless nonsense derives from the keyboards of foul-mouthed Conservative supporters, it seems.

I think Cameron's nasty personal attacks on Milliband and his victimisation of the poorest and weakest in society brand him as a bully and will have the effect of alienating the public against him more and more.

Milliband isn't country leader material.

I've seen drier wet lettuces than that mate of Gromit's.

A vote for Milliband is virtually like saying... I don't give a shit anymore and how great is distressed grey furniture.

I've never in my life voted Tory.

Is that the Labour slogan now Johnny because they are a load of wishy washy distressed grey furniture collectors?

I'll vote as I always do,  but don't blame me for folk thinking  'lets twist it and say you've voted Tory'.
