It was Labour that took us to war, the Tories that scaled it right back.

If it was up to Dave we'd be fighting alongside ISIS in Syria right now, luckily Miliband stopped that. What about education? 'Free schools' being run at minimal cost by private companies, I know teachers who work in academies and both are horrendously understaffed.

The post office was undersold, they just sold off our share in Eurostar - a massively profitable business, and only ther other day £780 million worth of NHS contracts to private firms. Another term of the tories and there will be nothing left to sell.

I don't give a shit about the Post Office, I use MyHermes for parcels.

I don't give a shit about Eurostar as I fly everywhere.

I care about the NHS, but there's no doubt it needs a major shake up.

Thanks for succinctly summing up the average horrible tory cunt's world view in three short lines.

Couldn't have done it better myself.

Conservative

Main pledges

 • Eliminate the deficit and run an overall surplus by the end of the parliament
 • Aim for full employment where "anyone who wants a job is able to get a job"
 • Use money saved in reducing the benefits cap to fund 3 million apprenticeships
 • Triple the number of start-up loans to businesses to 75,000

Lib Dems

Main pledges

 • Deal with deficit by 2017/18 with a mixture of spending cuts & tax rises
 • Expand apprenticeships and develop national colleges for vocational skills
 • Extend reserved paternity leave from 2 to 6 weeks
 • Raise £1bn from extra corporation tax on banking sector

Green

Main pledges

 • Increase the minimum wage to £10 per hour by 2020
 • End austerity measures and restore public sector jobs
 • Ban "exploitative" zero-hours contracts
 • Introduce a maximum 35-hour working week

Labour

Main pledges

 • Deliver a surplus on the current budget in the next parliament, with debt falling as a share of GDP
 • Raise minimum wage to £8 an hour and ban “exploitative” zero hours contracts
 • No additional borrowing for new spending
 • 80,000 more apprenticeships

 • UKIP

Main Pledges

 • Reduce Britain’s debts
 • Review all legislation and regulations from the EU and remove those hampering British competitiveness
 • Negotiate a bespoke trade agreement with Europe
 • Enhance the UK’s position at the World Trade Organisation

Look how vague and lacking in detail many of the pledges are, particularly the Tory ones: instead Cameron has resorted to vicious personal attacks, a refusal to explain how proposals will be paid for, lack of concern for the young and the vulnerable and lies about the true nature of the employment figures and the actual deficit. Paxman wiped the floor with him and left him on his knees.

Where do I begin......

Increased VAT from 17.5% to 20%
Created the country's first ever double dip recession
Lost the countries AAA credit rating - so borrowing is actually more expensive than previously
Doubled the National Debt in 5 years here the previous level had taken 45 years!
Most ever Zero-Hour contracts
More than tripled the University Fees
More food banks than ever before
Wages at their lowest level ever (only just reached the same level as at start of the recession thus still 8 years behind and in reality people have lost money)
Reduced the armed forces to a level where we need the help of the French to stock up the airplane carriers!!!
NHS in a worse state than ever before, and that is after the top to bottom shake-up
Not reduced the migration figures
Sold off the Royal Mail far too cheaply

and that is just for starters......

Cameron vows to release Brucie into the wild. A Boltonnuts exclusive.

In his keynote speech to a Tory election rally Mr Cameron said he was sickened by the sight of the once majestic Strictly Come Dancing presenter being forced to apologise by BBC homosexuals and communists.
He said: "Britain will not be free until Bruce Forsyth is free. Then, and only then, will it be nice to see Britain, to see Britain nice.
"When I am prime minister I will coax Bruce into a large wooden crate, stick him on the back of a truck and then take him to the Forest of Dean where he can run around all day telling people that Paki is just a funny word."
In a wide-ranging speech Mr Cameron also pledged to destroy the British government, force dead people to work in Asda and drag everyone up a mountain so we can see all the land that is owned by his wife's family.
He said: "There's a steep climb ahead but the view from the top is worth it. Especially if it's yours as far as the eye can see."
The Tory leader called for a country of self-reliant people who knew how to pitch a tent, tie a knot, start a camp fire and cook a sausage after a day-long hike up Ben Nevis.
He added: "Britain, let me be your scoutmaster. I promise I will never try to feel you up or take photos of you in your trunks."
But Labour dismissed the speech, adding: "It's the same old Tory plan to push thousands of poor people off the top of a big Scottish mountain.
"They're basically murderers."

So once again you are voting on a MAYBE.

If you had watched the Paxman interview you would have seen Ed admit that they got it wrong last time.

Hardly a figure which screams "Everything's fine now!", is it?

Exactly! I am self employed and over the last four years I have yet to feel any of these so called benefits in my pocket.

Is it booming or is it a "Gordon Brown" trick?

Economy is booming why?  We are trading to countries who cannot afford to payback, therefore the bookdebts show good income but when it comes to receiving the funds from the bookdebts how is that doing?  Badly - we have received less in the last 12 months than in the previous 4 years of the "bookdebts" and as such economy is actually, in reality, shrinking!

The biggest indicator of this is the inflation figure of 0% - if we are booming then inflation should be around the 2% mark.  Wages should be a level far higher than what they are - they are currently 7 years lagging - this then mean that there is less tax being collected and that means the deficit gap will increase.  It has only decreased at the budget because of the sale of Lloyds-TSB shares in a one-off sale (and at a price lower  than what it should have been) - Take that out of the equation then the national deficit is approximately 81% of the GDP (whereas at the start of the Government it was 64%.

All indicators show upwards trend, but don't let that fool you as all indicators (except for the debt and deficit) are still 7 years behind where they should be today - therefore in real terms we are not booming.  We are still behind Germany and the US and very far behind China.

The reason chocolate went so cheap was because the manufacturers felt sorry for all the people in the UK having to put up with the Tories...

Quite a fair observation there 1874. What you have to remember is the "I own my house so I vote Tory" syndrome.
Thatcher certainly hooked a few sheep by selling council houses!!!
