Can't see it being Rhys Williams, too expensive for us now. I'm sure I remember Nixon saying the midfielder was on a free, and the defender we were in for was money, not positive though.

Lofty, she knows exactly who were talking about.
she's trying, and failing, to be funny.

Actually, and I swear on my mothers life, I have no idea who this Welsh guy is. I could google him but I can't be arsed.
Instead of trying to be a clever dick why couldn't you just tell me?

He's an australian first of all, Middlesborough can play in midfield or at the back. Coyle seems to be a big fan, from what I've seen he's okay, not £6million material though.

Anybody fancy Danny Murphy for a season? Or is he past it. He's been shown the door by Fulham

Apparently, he's very disruptive in the changing room, (you can put your own twist on that if you like)

We still haven't signed any new players yet have let so many players go. IMO we need a new centre back as Wheater is out long term, we need a couple of central midfielders and a striker.
I can't believe we didn't go for Jay Rodriguez. He is a proven goalscorer at this level. I think I am right in saying he has joined Southampton. Surely he would have come to us with him knowing Coyle and not having to move away.
I think for defensive midfield position we should go for Sandro of Spurs. He had a good season last year and would be excellent in the Championship. It may cost £5m to get him but he'd be a great signing. I think Danny Murphy would do a good job for us in the Championship as well.
And for centre back we should go for someone like Shawcross or Johnny Evans. I think they would both do a good job in the championship.
I hope we'll sign some good players soon.
