Really good. Never been a fan of egg chasing but it is so family oriented. At the end both teams walk around the pitch high fiving the coaches and parents. My little girl came watching too and at the end end both teams where in a line all giving her a high five.  So cute.

It was a good day.

Thanks sluffy

Got a meeting in Scouserpool to discuss / agree / set a budget for the forthcoming project I'll be heading up (Ooh, get me!) and meet the team.

Can't wait......

(Did the sarcasm come through there? Hope so. It's difficult to convey it in writing.)

Don't you bloody start!

Mrs B's been consumed by buyer's guilt ever since we got home and hasn't stopped banging on about it.

"Have we done the right thing?"

"Yes love. You wanted it and I couldn't stand being made out to be the villain if I'd said no, so yes we have."
Dear oh dear, Breaders. Come three months time and she'll be telling you she wouldn't have bought it but you insisted. Better redecorate the sitting room as a punishment

nope about 6 weeks i think.  fingers crossed anyway.  VW's are alright but you need to get top of the line models to get any of the gadgets and stuff in them.

My lad has a lump in each foot, both in the same place so we have a feeling it is just bone but we want to make sure obviously.  he had talipese (i think thats how you spell it)  when he was little where his feet bend slightly inwards.

Thats sorted itself out now but might be a result of it.

Doesn't stop him from running round like a loon 24/7 Smile

She's already decided it's not as comfy as the old one and has started giving me grief for "making" her get it.

I can't bloody win.....

You're probably right and it's probably nowt, but it's always better to get these things checked out, isn't it?

Hope he's ok.

On the VW thing, you're right.

Mrs B sorted a deal out for our nephew on a brand new Polo TSI and he picked it up yesterday.

He's got a 15 grand car for 10k and it's quite smart because it's got all the bits.

He only passed his test two weeks ago and he's got a brand new bloody top-spec car already.

What happened to serving your time in a banger?

Hope he doesn't wrap it up but we all know what we were like when we first started driving, so I fear the worst......

see i did mine the wrong way round too.  i got a brand new 51 plate renault clio for my first car and then traded it in for a 1997 mazda 323 1.5 estoril. the only second hand car i ever bought.  i got another clio after that and then my l200 which was my favourite motor ever.  i'd wanted a pick up truck since i was about ten.  only problem was i wasn't using it for what it was built for and any time someone needed something moving or picking up or tip runs, guess who had to do it.  determined i will get another one

Footy/racing on telly.
Might take the dog for a walk later. No longer have a dog,but I'm a creature of habit.
Just noticed someone is selling 4 seats from Burnden on ebay. £250. Dare I? Where would I put them?
Best leave well alone. Take note Bread.
