what goals are these then Lusty?  Very Happy I can't see us scoring enough to justify a new screen

Exactly amigo.

No one has tried harder than Boggers to entertain us with his rumours this Summer.

Give the guy some credit, bullshit is often more interesting than the truth.

Rumour has it that Barclays bank has refused an extension to our overdraft.

Quick Quid might come in useful after all.

if that's the case I can understand where the Ream money has gone and we can draw a line under the search for a striker.

Mixed feelings.

He's definitely what we need (i mean 'really need, we've got more right backs than we have centre midfielders) but he has plenty of form for being a knobhead.

Here's what he said about Dyche.....

"He is the most impressive guy I have sat in front of for a long, long period of time"

So there's hope for him.

We know that the male of the species don't really properly grow up until they are well into their thirties.

He'll be as good as gold at Burnley because he's got bottle coming here   Very Happy .......

Maybe we can tempt Nobby Nolan back, now that he's left West Ham.
Rumour is he doesn't want to leave London, and his wages would be a sticking point anyway.

Hang on a minute, we've had in Pisano, and Prince, and now a Spanish left back. All that has come out of the Ream money.

We owe £5 million to the banks and that's it.

ED isn't putting any money because he wants the club to stand on it's own two feet. As far as we know he may well wipe the debt of at a stroke when he decides to get rid of the club.

The only real worry we have, in the mean time, is whether he pops his cloggs, before he wipes the debt.

Oh and don't forget ED agreed the 10 year plan to pay him back - if and only if - he calls in the debt. Which he hasn't as of this time.

So stop being doom and gloom everybody

Honestly think this is a brilliant signing, he's straightened himself out in terms of his behaviour - he now thinks he's a Twitter intellectual for some reason - but as a Championship midfielder he'll be one of the best in the league.

I fancy Burnley to make a good run at promotion this year, wasn't too sure before they signed Gray and now Barton.

Prince, Pisano and Casado were all deals brokered before Ream was sold, but you are right that it's possible that the money had been earmarked for their wages even though there was no guarantee of a sale at that time and that we got more than originally anticipated thanks to Fulham's late intervention. However if there's any truth in the rumour that Lennon had lined up a striker whose wages amounted to £200k per annum and we couldn't afford that, then it indicates that we've pretty reached the bottom of the barrel.
Accepting that reality doesn't amount to "doom and gloom" mongering, but is more about facing up to our situation.
As to Ed's exit strategy, we have no idea what he's thinking or planning.

Club is up for sale for £30 million this morning with the debt wiped of.

Reality is ED wants the club to be able to stand on it's own two feet. If someone pays the £30 million, the clubs debt is wiped of and good times are here again.

That's a cheap deal, for the club to start again

Shall we have a whip round to see how much we can raise. I'll start the ball rolling with a generous £10
