Hang on a minute, we've had in Pisano, and Prince, and now a Spanish left back. All that has come out of the Ream money.

We owe £5 million to the banks and that's it.

ED isn't putting any money in because he wants the club to stand on it's own two feet. As far as we know he may well wipe the debt of at a stroke when he decides to get rid of the club.

The only real worry we have, in the mean time, is whether he pops his clogs, before he wipes the debt.

Oh and don't forget ED agreed the 10 year plan to pay him back - if and only if - he calls in the debt. Which he hasn't as of this time.

Prince, Pisano and Casado were all deals brokered before Ream was sold, but you are right that it's possible that the money had been earmarked for their wages even though there was no guarantee of a sale at that time and that we got more than originally anticipated thanks to Fulham's late intervention. However if there's any truth in the rumour that Lennon had lined up a striker whose wages amounted to £200k per annum and we couldn't afford that, then it indicates that we've pretty reached the bottom of the barrel.
Accepting that reality doesn't amount to "doom and gloom" mongering, but is more about facing up to our situation.
As to Ed's exit strategy, we have no idea what he's thinking or planning.

Club is up for sale for £30 million this morning with the debt wiped of.

Reality is ED wants the club to be able to stand on it's own two feet. If someone pays the £30 million, the clubs debt is wiped of and good times are here again.

That's a cheap deal, for the club to start again
