i was on £3.03 ph in my first full time job working for Auto Trader at 16 (16 years ago!)

Before that i was on £2.77 an hour working at stolen from ivor from age 16 until 18. (i still worked there whilst i was at trader because i honestly enjoyed it that much.

Then before that, at age 14 i started working on Bolton Market which was about £1.66 per hour. My mum made we quit the job when i got expelled Sad

For most people going to find a job would have been the punishment but i enjoyed working. i always did. even before that me and a mate used to go round and wash cars on a weekend. probably earned more doing that than i do now per hour Smile

i was on a YTS and got £27.50 per week in the first year and around £36 per week i think in the second year. I still had to pay my keep as well!

Sorry to buck the trend here everyone- but I liked it for selfish reasons. I'll be better off after it. Only a few bob a week- but I'd rather have it than the government.

TBF i think i will be slightly better off too after it was all done with. soon be autumn though and then they'll screw us for xmas

Don't forget Norpig, we can all get higher paid jobs and work harder and earn more money. it's easy.
not the harder you work the more money you make but the more money you make then (according to the tories) the harder you must work. it's utter bollocks. There are people out there who work jobs they do extremely well and couldn't just jump to something else who have three or more kids who will be toeing the poverty line. child care isn't an option as whatever they earn won't cover it. i know someone will use the line, "well if you can't afford thekids why have them in the first place!" but seriously, come on. My blood was boiling the whole way through it listening to his little sound bytes (a budget for the hard working bollocks is making my piss boil right now!) and like i said i don't think i will be affected too much by it as it stands but that could change in a heartbeat and it is the uncertainty which is making it even more stressful for people.

Sick and tired of people with kids moaning about lack of funds or tax credits or child benefit.

If you can't afford to breed, buy a fucking condom. Why should the taxpayer fund your sprogs?

Ay least the Tories made a start yesterday by denying tax credits to anyone having a third baby (or more), but they should have gone the whole hog and removed tax credits for everyone.
