I've got a Fry's Chocolate Cream.
I have 2 Old Speckled Hen for desert
Pizza for me. Wasn't even homemade, it was a frozen one. I'll make up for it tomorrow with beef casserole.
I'll tell you what's good 58. Get the everyday pizzas from aldi (99p) add your own toppings and a bit of extra cheese and they are a lot nicer than the frozen ones. I prefer them to take away ones (apart from amigos)

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!
I hate mint chocolate and mint ice cream.
My favourite flavour ice cream is rum and raisin, especially from fredericks in Chorley. If you have never been to fredericks ice cream shop you should go, it's lovely.

I do like certain pizzas from Aldi. The specially selected frozen jalapeño burgers are very nice too. I was surprised at how good aldi is when I started shopping there. I'd always shopped at asda and tesco previous to that.

We used to go to aldi just for fruit and veg. Now we get the main bulk of our stuff from there.
The fresh lamb burgers are very nice

They sell everything really. Probably even got some brucie dvds. Steer clear of the ham though. It smells like wet dog and doesn't taste much better.boltonbonce wrote:Do they sell slippers?

The fruit and veg at aldi is better than you will get at any of the big supermarkets. I've heard lidl is good for that as well though I've never tried it personally.y2johnny wrote:Bwfc1958 wrote:I do like certain pizzas from Aldi. The Aldi near us is pretty good. Get all my cheese from there.
Tried some of the tinned soups but wasn't keen.
Got some nice Czech lager though.

Use Lidl quite a bit now and started just due to how convenient they are where they are situated.
Their own brand real ales that are to compete against the likes of Old speckled hen for example are not bad and at just 90p a bottle is pretty cheap.
Their quiche is good and we also buy their fresh marinated olives, nuts, cheeses, sausage rolls, some antipasti to name a few.
The only problem is that they only ever have like one frigging till open and no 10 items or under or self service till so it can be a pain in the arse if you are just popping in for a couple of items.
I recommend you try it Johnny.

Sometimes I'll call in for the odd thing and there are only a few checkouts that are full with people who have an absolute shitload of stuff. I'm stood waiting 20 minutes with my tinned tomatoes and no fucker turns round and says why don't you go ahead of me you only have one tin.
Other than that it's good.
