For me, asking questions and being questioned about issues I have an opinion on expands the range and depth of my view. One good point raised by you was about Trump draining the swamp, not something I’d put too much thought on before but you are right, as was a friend of mine in the pub after work who spoke about Trump’s lack of corporate sponsorship being a positive.

My apology to Glos was on the basis of his getting wound up - that was not intentional - I don't think asking somebody questions is in any way out of order and it's telling you can't give me any example of where I have been.

Having the 'same' number of posts is meaningless in terms of who was 'pushing' the argument and who was simply being civil by responding - until even he got sick of it!

Asking questions is not 'out of order' as you put it but once it becomes abundantly clear that pushing the point to extremes that the other party simply does have the time (or the will) to keep responding to is non beneficial to anyone other than perhaps yourself if you want to consider that this somehow equates in your mind that you've 'won' the argument/discussion in some way or other.

I would imagine that most people (including myself) think twice about discussing anything at all with you for any length of time because clearly you usually can't (or won't!) let the matter in hand drop - even though it is just an internet opinion held by some person you don't even know!

I've always assumed you behave like that on the internet for your own amusement but as per this case with Glos, it is most certainly is anything but fun to those you are deliberately seemingly attempting to browbeat with your ceaseless argumentative style.
